Kids Birthday Party at a Farmhouse in Noida: A Parent’s Guide

Birthdays are the number one occasion our guests book farmhouses for. A kids birthday party at a farmhouse means space to run, a pool to splash in and no neighbours to worry about. For parents, it means everything in one place. Here is how to plan it well.

Pick the right farmhouse for a kids birthday party

For a kids party, look for a separate kids pool, a big lawn and an AC hall for cake cutting. The Party Garden has a separate kids pool, which parents love. Our birthday party farmhouse page compares all options.

Timing

A day slot works best for young kids. Start around 11 AM or 4 PM so the little ones are fresh, and keep the party to four or five hours.

Decoration

Balloon arches, a theme backdrop and a cake table are the basics. Fairy lights make the evening photos special. See Birthday Party Decoration Ideas for a Farmhouse for ideas you can set up yourself or with a decorator.

Games and activities

• Treasure hunt on the lawn
• Musical chairs and passing the parcel in the hall
• Splash time in the kids pool with an adult watching
• A simple magic show or tattoo corner

Food

Kids eat little and often. Plan finger food, pizza, fries and juice, and a proper meal for the parents. Food is not included, so order online or bring a caterer. More in Food at a Farmhouse Party: Ordering In, Caterers and Kitchen Rules.

Safety

Assign two adults to the pool area at all times and keep gates closed. Our Pool Safety Tips for Kids at a Farmhouse Party checklist covers everything.
